Not to be confused with fireman Laurence Doyle.

Elizabeth Doyle was a Third Class passenger of the Titanic. She died in the sinking.

She was the daughter of Martin Doyle (b. 1851), a farmer, and she had three known siblings: James (b. 1878), Margaret (b. 1879) and Jeremiah (b. 1885). The family appear on the 1901 census living at house 15 in Bree and Elizabeth was described as a farmer's daughter. Her remaining family appear on the 1911 census living at house 8, Bree.

Elizabeth later emigrated around 1909, settling in Philadelphia but returned home in June 1911 to be with her dying father who died over the summer of that year aged 60. On her return to the USA she would be travelling to Chicago, Illinois with her cousin Robert Mernagh, a native of New Ross, Co Wexford, who had also previously spent time in the USA.

She boarded the Titanic at Queenstown as a third class passenger (ticket number 368702, £7, 15s).

Elizabeth Doyle died in the disaster. Her body, if recovered, was never identified.

Her estate, valued at a meagre £10, was administered to her brother Jeremiah, a postman, on 10 April 1913.
