Third Class Steward 2 was third class steward in the 1997 Film Titanic. He was portrayed by Nick Meaney.
Biography[]
This steward first appeared handing lifebelts to steerage passengers, including Tommy Ryan. The Core Extra was standing there too. Nearby, third class Steward 3 was at a Bostwick gate, preventing steerage passengers from reaching the lifeboats. A random steerage steward was complaining about luggage blocking the gangway. Archive footage from James Cameron's Titanic Explorer shows that this steward was acting on Third Class Steward 3's direct orders.
He had the well-known catchphrase "Go back down into the main stairwell and everything will be sorted out there" in an attempt to prevent third class passengers from rushing to the higher decks of the sinking Titanic. One of the Steward's charges, Jack Dawson demanded he opened the gate but Steward 2 refused.

Jack shouted "Son of a bitch!" at him as he furiously shook the gates. Then, Jack, another passenger, Fabrizio de Rossi, and an irish man Thomas Ryan grabbed a bench nearby and forced it from its hinges to ram the gates. First Class Passenger Rose DeWitt Bukater cleared their way.
Steward 2 yelled "Put that down!" but the gate was rammed open. He desperately tried to send the escaping passengers back only to be punched by Tommy.
Steward 2 hit the floor of the gangway head-first and passed out. He woke up at 1:55 and the water was up to his knees. He struggled to stand, bleeding profusely from the head. Weak and in tunnel vision, he stumbled through the sloshing water and found his way up the stairwell. By the time he emerged from the Steward's Staircase on the Aft Boat Deck he was met with a mob of passengers rushing aft, and found the davits empty. It was 2:05AM by now, and he began to walk forwards to the port side of the Boat Deck where Collapsible B had been thrown off the roof. He attempted to help flip the lifeboat back over but seconds later a massive wave of water smashed onto the Boat Deck, sweeping the lifeboat from the deck. Hold Steward 2 became pinned under it, tried to resurface, but drowned underneath it.

Steward 2 was assisted by another unnamed steward.
When the assistant saw Jack and his companions had grabbed a bench to ram the door open, he ran away, leaving Steward 2 alone.
It's unknown what happened to him, but as he wasn't seen in any lifeboat nor between steerage passengers on Carpathia, he most likely died in the sinking - however he does have some resemblance to the Collapsible A Bleeding Steward.
